The Metro Denver Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) Initiative is a four-year $15M grant from the U.S. Department of Labor. Metro Denver WIRED is a regional partnership among industry, economic development, education and the public workforce system to connect Colorado’s home-grown skilled workforce with the best jobs that the economy is producing. The Initiative focuses on strengthening the region’s talent pipeline at all levels to produce a workforce skilled in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for the region’s fastest-growing, high-wage industries that are also experiencing labor shortages.
Please email ALL questions to: WIRED@metrodenver.org. The deadline for questions is Monday, January 5th, 2009.
