Bank On Denver - The Bank on Denver program will connect unbanked and underbanked Denver residents to local banks and credit unions to ensure that residents have access to products and services that allow them to maximize opportunities for building assets and improving financial stability. The City and County of Denver is working with partners in the private, public and non-profit sectors to develop and implement a Bank on Denver program. The participation of financial institutions and community organizations will be critical to the initiative’s success.
Brownfields Redevelopment - OED works to provide assistance where the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of which may be complicated by the presence or perceived presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant, via site assessments, grant applications, or accessing funding avenues.
CDBG Consolidated Plan - The City and County of Denver’s Office of Economic Development (OED) operates to create a local environment that stimulates balanced growth through job creation, business assistance, housing options and neghborhood redevelopment.

Neighborhood Marketplace Initiative - OED's Neighborhood Marketplace Initiative is a new approach to strengthen and enhance Denver’s diverse neighborhood business districts. This initiative shows how Denver is leading the nation in providing a support system to allow small businesses that comprise the numerous business districts to grow and flourish.

Transit Oriented Development - By mixing uses like residential, employment, shopping, recreation and civic space within walking distance of transit (and each other) with relative intensity, TOD provides a neighborhood economic development opportunity without the transportation impacts typically associated with auto-oriented development (such as increased parking demand and traffic congestion).
