Real Estate Developer Assistance

If you’re a real estate developer, the Denver Housing Initiatives (DHI) process helps developers access low-interest loans for new construction or redevelopment projects. It is designed for, but not limited to, non-profit organizations. Proposals may be funded by one or more of the following sources: The City of Denver, the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, and the Colorado Division of Housing.  Projects should be designed to provide affordable housing, meet the needs of special populations and/or limit neighborhood deterioration.  Contact the Division of Housing & Neighborhood Development at 720.913.1999.

The Section 108 Program from the Division of Housing & Neighborhood Development provides interim financing to developers to acquire, rehabilitate, and construct off-site improvements for both rental and for sale housing. The Section 108 Program is intended to be used with other public and private financing sources. Applicants must demonstrate that the project could not go forward without the requested funds. Call Housing & Neighborhood Development at 720.913.1999.
