The Youth Employment Program provides employment and training services that assist in addressing the educational, job readiness and career exploration goals of youth. There are three primary objectives for the Youth Employment Program:
Who Can Participate?
The Youth Employment Program serves youth between the ages of 14 to 21 who are part of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program; youth between the ages of 14 to 18 who are on their parents TANF case; youth up to 20 years old who have children and receive TANF themselves, or youth/family who meet the income guidelines and have a barrier to employment.
How to Apply
The Youth Employment Program expanded to year-round programming whereby all potential candidates apply through one of the Community Based Organizations (CBO) listed below. Space is limited, contact CBO for enrollment information.
