Registration for the 2008 Governor's Summer Job Hunt is now closed.
If you are between the ages of 16 - 21 and looking for employment opportunities, the Office of Economic Development, Youth Services is ready to work with you. The Governor's Summer Job Hunt is a referral program that matches a youth's skills, interests and work experience with appropriate employers.
All youth interested in receiving job referrals will need to complete a two-hour Job Readiness Course before receiving job referrals. Upon receiving a job referral, youth will need to visit the employer, fill out an application and complete the interview process with the employer.
OED Youth Services is a referring agency. It is the employers' decision as to who they hire. Referrals may not result in an interview.
Eligibility: You must be a resident of the City and County of Denver and between the ages of 16 and 21 to participate in the Governor's Summer Job Hunt.
Registration: Complete a registration form Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at: Office of Economic Development - Youth Services 1391 Speer Blvd. Suite 520 Denver, CO 80204
