Changes to the Quigg Newton Workforce Center

On September 1, 2008, the Quigg Newton Workforce Center transitioned to a Denver Employment First Office. The Employment First Program offers employment and training referrals to families and individuals who receive Food Stamp assistance.

Service referrals available through the Employment First program include:

• Assessments
• Adult basic education
• Job preparatory classes
• Job referrals
• Job seeking classes
• Unpaid work experience at local businesses
• Linkages to post secondary education
• All workforce center classes and services
• Support services including transportation assistance and other work-related supports

The Denver Office of Economic Development is dedicated to providing you with employent-related services. We look forward to assisting customers of the Quigg Newton Workforce Center at one of our four other locations.
