There are free services to help you find many different types of licensed child care. Qualistar Early Learning provides child care resources and referrals statewide. The trained referral counselors will use the zip code area you provide and give names, addresses and phone numbers of licensed homes, centers or both. They will also let you know:

• If they care for infants, toddlers and school-aged children
• If they transport from schools
• If they are open odd hours

They may also know if the child care has sliding scale fees or accepts child care assistance payments.
