Mayor Hancock Invites Residents to Join in the Start of Denver Days 2018

DENVER –  Mayor Michael B. Hancock invites residents to join him in celebrating the people and neighborhoods that strengthen the Mile High City by participating in Denver Days 2018.

“Denver Days is about celebrating our city’s people and the strength of our community,” Mayor Hancock said. “Neighbors coming together with their neighbors is the best way to recognize the richness of our neighborhoods and elevate the culture, character and community of our great city.”

With more than 220 public and private events including block parties, special events, social gatherings and community service projects across the city there’s something for everyone to enjoy. This year’s celebrations take place starting Saturday, August 4 through Sunday, August 12.

Mayor Hancock started Denver Days back in 2013 as a way to bring neighbors together, connecting them to their communities and giving them a chance to take an active role in making their city safer – all with the hope that the spirit of Denver Days would be something felt and celebrated year round.
