1st Hour: Overview of Different Certification Programs and Introduction to the Construction Empowerment Initiative Ordinance

Denver International Airport to Provide Information to Prospective Concessionaires
The Division of Small Business Opportunity (DSBO) at Denver International Airport will offer informational sessions for small, minority- and woman-owned businesses that want to become certified as Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (ACDBE). The ACDBE program targets businesses suitable for operating concessions at the airport, as well as companies that provide goods and services to concessionaires.
Beginning Feb. 12, informational sessions will be offered on the second and fourth Friday of each month. Topics will include the ACDBE certification process, ACDBE goals and compliance, the DSBO’s role in the process, and general information on doing business at DIA.
