In partnership with local training institutions such as the Community College of Denver and many specialized training providers, the Division of Workforce Development (DWD) develops customized training programs to raise the skills of new hires and existing workers for any business.

Training is always business-based, and can include assistance with language, literacy, math, computer and industry-specific skills development. DWD’s industry-specific training programs have helped business address significant skill shortages through training programs that move individuals up from entry-level jobs to professional careers.
