Hamilton Building, an addition to the Denver Art Museum will open with a geometric explosion of glass and titanium designed by Daniel Libeskind, is an internationally significant work of architecture will a new signature landmark for the City of Denver.
Under the leadership of the citizens of the City and County of Denver, an adopted city ordinance requires that capital improvement projects and bond monies with construction and design budgets over $1,000,000 must allocate 1% of the estimated construction budget for the acquisition of public art. As a result, hundreds of pieces of beautiful art is enjoyed by the public at no extra cost to them.
