With its six full-service workforce centers throughout the city, the Division of Workforce Development (DWD) has the ability to recruit large pools of applicants for every position through a variety of recruitment options including company-specific recruiting events to large job fairs. DWD offers individual assessment and pre-screening of applicants to present hiring managers with the most qualified candidates for each open position. DWD is part of the statewide database of job seekers, representing every skill level from entry level to management.  Below is a listing of our recruitment solutions available to Denver area businesses:

Quicklist:  QuickList is our fastest recruitment solution for businesses that wish to list their position(s) listed and out to the public as soon as possible.  Click here to list your position now!

  • Perfect for entry-level, trade and mid-level management positions or for companies with a large number of vacancies

Select Choice:  If you're looking for something more than a "come one, come all" recruitment solution, Select Choice maybe for you. This recruitment package is available to businesses who want to take a the time to find the right candidate for their position and is best suited for businesses seeking candidates with a higher-level skill set to occupy hard-to-fill vacancies.

  • A recruitment team is quickly assembled to perform an extensive skills match within our Job-Seeker Database to find the appropriate candidate
  • Interested candidates are prescreened by an Business Specialist for qualifications and eligibility before being referred to the employer
  • Businesses select the method of contract from interested candidates (phone, fax, email, walk-in).

On Site & Direct:  Are you opening a new store or office and need to fill positions at every level? Or, are you a fast-growing company needing to fill a lot of vacancies? If so, DWD's On-site and Direct recruitment and interviewing package might be the solution for you.

  • Meet interested applicants face-to-face and conduct on-site interviews with high-level candidates
  • DWD will promote your event through each of our six Workforce Centers as well as our extensive community partners throughout the metro area
  • Choose any of our Workforce Center locations throughout Denver County to hold your recruiting event

Industry/Geographic Job Fair:  If you're a part of an industry that has a large number of vacancies or if your are an employer located within a rapidly growing geographic area, our office can put together a customized Job Fair for you!

  • DWD will recruit other interested employers within your industry or geographic area and coordinate the time, date and location of the Job Fair
  • DWD will make all necessary arrangements for advertising and selecting an ideal location for your event

Training and Retention
In partnership with local training institutions such as the Community College of Denver and many specialized training providers, DWD develops customized training programs to raise the skills of new hires and existing workers for any business. Training is always business-based, and can include assistance with language, literacy, math, computer and industry-specific skills development. DWD’s industry-specific training programs have helped business address significant skill shortages through training programs that move individuals up from entry-level jobs to professional careers.

Labor Market Information
Through its network of public and private partners, the Division of Workforce Development can provide businesses with valuable research on labor availability, wage and benefits information, regulatory assistance, cost of living statistics, and Colorado occupational projections. By tapping into DWD’s resources for research, a business can save literally thousands of dollars.
